Alright, so i given up hope on selling my car.. and now im doing something that i've always wanted to do with the car..
my goals are to reach around 600whp
motor
2jz Gte
T67 Greddy Turbo
Im looking for something Reliable and powerful.
I was wondering can the Stock 2jz handle the 600hp.
Of course im getting head studs and new head gasket, new intake manifold, 1000cc injectors and fuel rail, (fuel regulator).
Will i need to rebuild the head?
And also
what kind of power can i look at with a 2jz buttom end with a 1jz head, single turbo?

If you're swapping in a complete GTE there's no reason to change out the headgasket, and in that case you can switch over to the ARP headstuds without having to remove the head. Also, no need to replace the GTE's intake manifold as it will support a lot more than the 600 you're looking at. A 67mm is a good turbo to go with, but do some more research on the setup you want to go with before you start throwing money around.

Glad your keeping ur ride and def get like a bootlogic HG and ARP studs for sure so for 600hp goals you should be fine with stock internals (GTE) but its always best to upgrade if you can and if i were you i would stay auto trans because you will never shift faster and more acurate than a computer
