Default Will a turbo Manifold from a NA 2JZ fit on a NA VVt-i 2JZ

I just want to clear up some info about manifolds. My friend (WICKEDSC) and I had a little conversation last night over a manifolds. He told me that the NA 2J manifold does not fit on the NA 2J vvt-i.

From my past exp that the turbo manifold were different only from NA to TT. but my friend quote " Nero from (titanmotorsport) Told me that the manifolds were changes from non vvti to vvti".

will the manifold from a NA fit on a TT???

will the manifold from a non vvti fit on a vvti???

Yes. They are the same exhaust manifold. The 95' and under 2JZGE intake manifold is slightly different from the 96' and up, due to OBD2 changes, a fuel recovery passage, and different injector shapes. The Exhaust/Turbo manifold should be the same. Perhaps he was thinking "what will fit a vvt-i, sometimes won't fit a pre 98' GE because of distributor interference" Nero is usually pretty smart about 2J stuff, so I kind of wonder.

yep. exhaust manifold flange pattern is the same on all 2jz-ge. same goes for all 2jzgte as well. all 2jzgte manifolds flange patterns are same too. vvti of not doesnt matter.

this could sound confusing. all GE modle fit GE. but GTE and GE head stuff are NOT interchangable. well as far as manifolds and cams

ge and gte flanges are different. the cylinder heads between the ge and gte are actually substantially different. from the port size and angle to the combustion chamber volume.

if the ge and gte flanges were same then people would buy stock TT twins and throw them on the ge motors and go that NA-T route. now that would be sweet.

as far as cams the exhaust cams are different because the GE has the helical gear to drive the distributor and the GTE doesnt have it. intake cams should be interchangeable though.
