I didn't see an electric fan, or supra fan and clutch on your list. I'm running a Zirgo knockoff I think it's a 16". Flows pretty dam good. You may also want to think about upgrading your radiator to something like a Koyo. If you do, don't forget a tranny cooler. Good luck.

Forgot to add a downpipe,

I'm impressed. But if you think about it the 1jz head probably gives the right amount of flow for it's smaller displacement motor. This must upset the 1.5jz guys, Lol. on actually providing proof.

I didn't realize I needed a new fan, I'll probably go electric. Forgot to add a downpipe.

Thanks for the info!

If you read the rest of the thread posted above, people discuss not just overall flow of the heads, but the port velocities as well. Each head was designed for its own engine and does a good job for it as well.

I wonder if the 1JZ VVT-i head is interchangable and if so how its flow numbers would come out.....

I wonder that too. Good point. I'm kinda glad he posted that. It's good info that I obviously didn't know existed.

TroySC300 sorry to clog up your thread, If you check with Titan, sometimes they have used Rod Millen down pipes that came off customers cars that went single.

Haha it's cool. I'm actually quite surprised with the amount of used parts available from people that went single. Good news for me

Side note- I've decided to extend the wiring harness myself to save on labor costs. I'm no solder noob and I think it would be fun and satisfying to know that I contributed in a major way to my engine swap
