glad you did it all by yourself (save the diff) and im sure you learned alot. Im really really sorry i could not help you physically but atleast if you had a question i could poiunt you in some direction to help the project along. I am by no means taking credit away from Bobby, he learned alot during the 1j swap we did and its pretty humbleing to see he tackled all this by himself in his garage with hand tools having never done it before. As for the tuning next time we are in town together we'll get it right and hopefully toss her on the rollers see what she puts out. Again great job....will link this thread to my forum for all to see.

Hi CL, im still workin on gettin an SC.....these neons just keep getting cheaper to buy and mod thats why i havent crossed over yet but i will soon enough. I run across alot of 400s in bad shape for too much money so im concentrating on getting a cheap 300 that i can do with as i please.

i do have a question about the diff...did u replace the bearings, etc? also, did the shop adjust for backlash?

i dynoed the car today on a dynojet and made 235rwhp and 224ft/lbs... apparently its not an 8lb wastegate spring. i have no boost controller or boost gauge so i dont know what its boosting to but i'll soon find out

yea it cant be a 8lb if u only made 235rwhp...it has to be lower than that...

options for the spring are either 3lbs or 5lbs, its a tail 38mm wastegate. I'm bying the 8lb spring in a day or so. ANd probably an AEM boostgauge to match the wideband.
