Damn man, your thread is AMAZING. The way you rewired your knock sensor is just... well, beyond me, haha. Absolutely awesome thread, this should be stickied.
Oh, awesome car, too.

I went ahead and removed the R154/BoostLogic driveshaft and JDm 3.26 Supra differential.
I installed the W58/stock driveshaft and the 4.08 diff with a Fidanza flywheel and Competition Clutch stage4 unit.
I'll probably be swapping out the 4.08 for an Sc400 3.92 diff maybe this weekend.
I'm thinking the 3.92 Differential gearing will be ideal with the W58/R154 gearing.
**the R154 and W58 cross member brackets are exactly the same, but are reversed when mounted to the chassis**
i had to loosen the engine mounts and slightly tilt the front of the engine up to get to the top 2 bellhousing bolts using about 4 foot of extensions, lol! ohya that jackstand is just there as a safety net...I have like 6-7 jackstands jacks under the car at all times...

both tranys look a like, what year is the w58, that is the one you are installing? also the competition clutch is push correct? can you take more pics on the pressure plate, part number and price, and flywheel, I am in the process in replacing my clutch in my 1jz with w58 but mines is different. on the shifting part.

I agree the 3.76 torsen would be very nice.
I am going to go ahead and try the 3.92 differential because if I can knock off 500rpm in 5th gear@60mph it would be ideal for what I use the car for.

I recently found out that my 'auto supra' torsen differential is actually the 3.26 JDM Supra differential.
I agree the 3.76 torsen would be very nice.

You can remove the trans in under 7hrs if you are prepared with 3-4ft worth of extensions and a swivel to get the 2 top bellhousing bolts out. You also have to loosen the motor mounts and lift the engine at the front hook slightly, which will help out a lot.
IDEA*** You can possibly use a jack and a block of wood to slightly jack up the front of the engine instead of using an engine lift. Just be careful where you place the jack and this may not even be a good idea**
