HELP ME! My brothers car is CuRsEd!
Wuzzup yall, nice to meet ya. I'm gonna cut to the chase and tell you whats wrong with my brothers 1993 SC300. If he drives like he's driving Miss Daisy it is perfectly fine all the way to 100mph but if he gets hard on the throttle it stalls, engine still runing, and sounds and moves like all of a sudden he's pulling a house. He's changed plugs, cap, coil, throttle position sensor, all 6 injectors and checked for vacuum leaks and it still does it. He has Injen Intake, Sun Automotive Hyper Voltage System and a Tornado installed. Can somebody please help?

i know, i told him the same thing about the Tornado but he does a lot of long distance driving and he says it works. I forgot to mention the check engine light is not lit.

Just because a check engine light is not on doesn't mean that there are codes stored in the car's ECU. Seeing it's OBDI get a paper clip and find the diagnostic port under the trunk/fuel door buttons. Find port E1 and TE1 and stick each end of the paper clip in those two ports. Turn the car to the ON position and look at the check engine light. It should be blinking. That should tell what codes are currently stored on the ECU and using the number of flashes you can determine what the code is.

sometimes the ecu could cut the fuel injected into the engine because i think US laws has made if u go to a certain speed, it cuts the fuel. I know cuz i had a 240, i went over like 100mph something, and it cut the fuel even tho the tach had much more mph on it.

if he's driving really easy on the throttle, he has the air to match the gas. but when he floors it, he doesn't have enough airflow to match so it bogs down
