I agree. If I did it again, I'd vortech the 1UZ and see what I can do with that.

I love having a boosted 400, its a shame more people don't go the same route!

All you need is the coolant bypass mod. That will fix the slowness. Do a search for it on here.

I'm in Denver, 5280 ft above sea level. I might need to check the timing. I'll try to get the video tomorrow. I couldn't tonight.

My car is slow as **** right now.

Maybe thats cuz there is no engine??

Try a tuneup and timing first.

sc300's are slow... about 175whp in a 3500 pound car = not fast. my daily driver, which is a 92 mazda protege feels faster than my sc because it weighs like less 2000 pounds with a 100hp motor.

meh it's faster than my last car (a VW beetle), but it definitely could use more to make it competitive. I have trouble keeping up with freakin Ford Probes and a few of the new Civics, just to mention a few....

My 5 spd doesn't have power until after 2500-3000 rpms as well, and my clutch is slipping too. It's not the ideal combination to play with but I still held off a few runners. My mechanic did a full tune-up, she runs well otherwise. I will be replacing my clutch soon with an ACT kit so I'll post if there is a difference.
