alright guys thanks for the input either way i look at it im going to have to drop a nice sum of money into either car..i geuss i will stick with my orginal plan slam the SC and a nice staggered set of wheels and call it day and slowly build up the evo

keeping the stock 2jz-ge compression and turbocharging is where the fun is at as far as i'm concerned. The car still pulls very well, beats 90% of everyday cars on the street while retaining manageable power without over-stressing your drivetrain. People put too much faith in power numbers and forget that gearing also plays into how fast your car accelerates. You don't need 500whp to go fast on the street. 320-400whp on a stock compression 2jz-ge is very quick on the street imo.

I agree with dejacky. I gotta say though, page one kinda seemed like people were bending over. I feel the Supra/Sc300 is a great platform. The Evo has the slimmer weight and awd advantage, But I think the claims that our cars can't be made to handle our a bit exaggerated. Imo the Evo is just the easy way out, much like 5.0/fox body/auto at the drag strip. To me they are the "Awd skittle". If being fast beats out being unique in your priorities, then pay no attention to my ramble. Again, just my opinion.
