I currently have 1jzgte with an oil leak from the oil filter housing area, Its not the oil filter thats leaking. Im trying to find a engine microfiche to see whats involved in that area of the oil filter housing. I've searched the net for the repair manual and microfiche but unable to find it, all I could find were engine rebuild and pictures of the bare block. Any help is appreciated

I believe it is just like the 2jz motors. That oil filter housing thing is secured to the block with an o-ring gasket.

My old 2jz had the same leak, it is common. I have some pics of that area of the block that I'll post when I get home.

Does any have anymore information about this? I have a leak that I can't identify where the source is. I just changed my valve cover gaskets on my 2jzge but the leak Is coming from under or near the filter housing area. How many bolts are holding the housing on? Once the car is up on jack stands I'll be able to see if it's the oil pressue sensor or the gasket from the filter housing that's leaking. Please anyone the more pics the better. Thanks!

There is 1 large union bolt that goes through the housing and a can't remember either a 10mm-or 12mm nut for centering of housing. there is an O ring on the flange to block.
