cluster will work fine. No idea on what the PRND2L will do, but I think I am just going to remove the bulbs since it will be useless anyways.

Did you have to trim the dead pedal at all mate to fit the clutch pedal?

Cheers

100% serious, lets not mess up matts thread, make a w58 vs r154 thread and ill chime in.

was just coming up with something that starts with an R in response to tavarish comment, sorry i couldn't come up with something more to your liking, but I'm also the kind of member who makes the parts that allows matt to do this swap in the first place, keep that in mind.

W58 or R154... who cares?

He doesn't seem to have a stroked out 1UZ with a supercharger so I'm pretty sure hes happy with the W58!

I will be doing this swap soon myself and I can only imagine how satisfactory it must feel to put a 5 speed behind the V8. The W58 was such a smooth transmission beind the GE, I bet it will feel amazing behind the 1UZ.

Anyways, questions on the build!

Was it difficult to place to pedal and run the lines while having the exhaust manifolds right there? That's the only particular area I have concern about, and even more so since I have the S&S headers and full exhaust.

If you could take a picture of that area at your convenience that would be awesome, keep up the good work Matt!

-Matt.
