So last night I was under the car and going to put the driveshaft in and connect the control rod to the lever. I get under there and lever rod is pointing to the rear of the car instead of to the ground.
I pulled on it a little to try to straighten it and it was not moving. I have not tried anything major to work it but wondering if you guys have any thoughts or wisdom on this. Is this thing not moving (cold steel) or can I get something to get some leverage.
I was debating if I should go to the gated shifter due to this (found one for $150) but I will be going 6 spd later this year and not sure if I wanted to even screw with it. If I could just bend it back somehow I could just move on. Do not get me wrong the gated shifter is better than the long strong firm handle we have![EEK!](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/eek1.gif)
but to me it is still the auto shifter I am getting rid of.
