i picked up this bad boy last week!




i decided it would look much better if it was cleaned up a bit, so here is what it looks like today!




i just had an interview so im hoping i get the job then i can actually start doing major mods to my car! everything is just sitting round waiting for me to throw money at it!

That thing is ginormous, I would hate to be sitting on parts like that. I want to see that in your engine bay man.

this thing has a pretty nice a/r im thinking .80. 50 psi capable easy! 60lbs per min. yes holset's are truck turbos, cummins to be exact. i got this thing from a giant crane! LOL seals are good zero play at all no leaks but i may rebuild it just to be safe. but i still gotta sit on parts and ish and i need to get this job asap. not a HX

I love when people just buy any turbo and think its going to work well with their car. Picking a turbo involves more than buying the biggest one you can find.
Truck turbos have huge Turbine housings which would take quite a while to spool in a 3L.

Your last comment shows your have got a bit more to learn about turbos and their application. The turbos max PSI of 50 has nothing to do with what you will eventually run on your 2JZ. This is why the person asked you if you will be running a smaller Hot side.
