Default Swap complete! Also A/C questions.

Ok, so after a 2 years of work. 1 Year being research and 1 year getting it to this moment.

Here is the original thread on a local forum.

http://www.dallasimports.net/forums/...howtopic=98003

If you don't want to read the whole thing, the gist of it is the following.

JDM 2JZGTE from a 6spd supra! Pretty rare. Came with a Mine's tuned ECU.

Auto to r154 swap.

New coils, water pump, igniter, OEM head gasket, cam seals, Head machined and decked.

Mods are:

USDM twins.

Supra trd gen 2 replica exhaust modded to fit.

Supra FMIC

Aeromotive FPR

RPS Max 6 puck sprung clutch.

AEM UEGO wideband

Lextech Lighting cluster needles.

All work except for things that needed welding (driveshaft, shifter, etc) or Machining tools (decking the head) done in garage by myself.
Wiring accomplished thanks to phils book.

Here are a few pics and a video I took today. Just of the engine bay, exhaust, and how the shifter fits

Here is a pretty retarded video of me starting up the car. I didnt even rev it hard at all haha. It wasn't warmed up and This was the only time I could film.

More pics of what went in is on the local forums link that I posted. It also follows the trail of mishaps I've gone through.

Over the course of the swap I've been through troubleshooting for fuel. Trouble shooting for crank.
Then trouble shooting for spark.
Then trouble shooting for "overheating problems" only to later figure out that it was a guage "malfunction" after I changed the headgasket and water pump.

I had to take apart transmission because the disk was backwards, then the following night of it being back on the road my Release bearing hub decided to take a dump. So the transmission had to come back out again and I had to replace it.

My horn and cruies wasn't working fixed that only today, and I have no idea how to wire in the stock theft deterrent horn back into the harness.

Also my AC compressor clutch will not kick on. I know Dr. Tweak knows about this, but I didnt bother to ask because I didnt pay for his services.

I'll have to look into the diagrams and maybe I can just create an on and off switch for the clutch. It will be a hassle, but I need A/C in Texas. Anyone have any advice?

Also, if you look at the engine bay pic, my harness is exposed. Anyone know what sort of material to use to cover it? I don't think regular electrical tape will work.

Oh wells, thanks for the comments in advance.

Will do! I've been having trouble finding a big enough loom for it though. Only saw the ones at vato zone and theirs are way too small.

They didnt have anything bigger than 3/4 loom .

The power is scary to me. I temporarily put it to ttc mode to diagnose a boosting problem. I nearly crapped my pants when the turbos kicked in. My wastegate couldnt control it and it spiked to 14 psi trigerring the boost cut.

I'm scared to install the BCC I have because I have no way to control boost.
I definately am taking a very cautious approach haha.

I still need to find this loom covering.
