so i did a search on fuel pump ecu and i think mine might be bad... but im not sure how to know for sure. i've had 1 symptom of it which is my car idles really low and when i'm approaching a stop, my car just dies out...I have to put it back in park and start it up. I always feel scared driving my SC400 now because it idles really low and shakes a little bit when I'm at a stop. Feels very unreliable and I'm afraid to drive the car due to it acting strange. Any way to check if it's the ECU I need to replace or could it be something else?

just bridge B+ to Fp on the diagnostics port in the engine compartment with a paper clip.. this causes the fuel pump to be running on full power all the time as soon as you turn on the ignition..

My car is a 5 speed and acts the same way at times. Rough idle when warm, (car shakes), sometimes it dies and wont hold idle at all. Restarting the car a couple times seems to correct it for some reason. May be related to the MAF or IACV.
I have the fuel pump ECU bypassed btw.

Wow, i just realized that people are having similar problems before I posted my thread.
I'm going to try the ecu bypass and hopefully that fixes it.
I think the problem is rising because the temperatures are getting warmer.. yesterday instead of the usual 5-6ºC it was 12ºC and full sun. I had it parked in the sun all day aswell.. I ended up pushing my car home..

you can search fuel ecu bypass or basically remove rear seats, remove driver side interior panel, unplug fuel ecu that sits behind that panel, snip red and green thicker wires, solder them together, done.
this actually fixed my issue on my old 92' and I did it on my swap for the walbro pump to run at 12V
