camshaft replacement question please help!
To make a long story short, the orginal camshaft on the cylinder head somehow blew up while i was driving. some how it was moving in and out apparently it was no good to begin with. basically is snapped in 1/2 from where the cam gear and behind the seal.
So i bought a new cylinder head, installed the new gasket, tq it within spec., used a feeler gauged to gauge the shims and now im stuck at the cams.
I notice both cams have a single dot and two dots.
how would i assemble this? which marks am i suppose to match up on both cams?

Check out Lextreme.com.. Do a search on there, and they have cam replacement listed in there for the 1UZ-FE, if this is the motor you are using. Hopefully, the answer is in the post and with some pictures for you.
