Default wiring for fuel pumps....?

Hey, how are you guys running the wire through the fuel tank to attach to the dual fuel pumps. I dont think the stock wire will be enough for 2 denso fuel pumps. Is there a way to drill into the stock cover an attach something to run the wires through without leaking fuel?

if you need to you can drill it and use a grommet then cover it with silicone to seal it off from fuel or debris getting in

I was told that gas will just eat right through the silicone. I was seeing if somebody had used something before or how everyone with twin pumps were doing this. I so do not wanna run a cell an external pump, but maybe that will be the safest for this street car.

A lot of people take the ground from the factory wire and convert it to a + wire to the 2nd pump. Then run two new ground to each pump to nut/bolt installed into the tank lid. Then from the outside (top of the lid) run from that same bolt to a chassis ground. Make sense?

Hey i tried that stuff an it didnt work so good. I ended up finding a person that had a TTc cover plate a rare part at that an just modified it to hold my twin supra pumps. It cost a few pretty pennies to get it but oh well. if i was to do it over again.. i would just get an external pump.. there is so much less work an all an less problems.. If one of my pumps stops it turns the car off, having to pumps an all this extra stuff to run them was a waste of money...
