SC Exhaust Thread

I've been running an M2 axle-back bolt on dual exhaust for a couple of weeks now. It's not big name brand but the price was very reasonable and the quality and sound are exactly what I expected of a mild upgraded exhaust. Not obnxiously loud at all but very aggressive and my highway cruising isn't a constant drone at my usual 3000-3500rpm. This is with the factory cats and resonators in.

Ok, so heres a question . Do you think its possible for me to cut the pipe that connects to the cat about half way in and put a flexpipe in and hook it up to a magnaflow to be like a straight pipe?

ProperSC - I tried this when I got my old SC. It had no exhaust whatsoever, just headers. I went and got a stock exhaust and tried to cut out the cats...its not worth it. Using flexpipe is great for a temporary solution if you're desperate but it's absolutely crap for the purpose you want it. Just go to a shop and have them do it. You'll be far happier with the result and won't waste your money twice.

Has anyone just replaced their stock mufflers with say magnaflows or flowmasters and have a sound clip. I have a 93. SC 400 I was going to just remove the resonators but the muffler shop said I would have a terrible drone.

idk where I found this pic or whose car it is...but does anyone know what mufflers (or tips) these are? I really like the angled tip only look more than having the whole muffler angled. Great looking car/exhaust....
