Default Blow off without being under a load?

I have a 1992 sc300 with a t67 setup on it hks wastegate blitz blow off valve and was wondering if there is anyway to get the car to blow off without being under a load? I want to be able to just push the clutch in and blow off is this possible?

I must not be clear about what you're asking. Bottom line, in order to make the car blow off, you have to build boost. So what are you talking about?

word... you need to be able to build boost. some cars will blow off louder because of smaller turbo, can build boost alot easier. ect.

actually you dont need to be building boost for your bov to open.
If you have the right spring/adjusted correctly, it should open up anytime the throttle plate closes at a lower vacuum than idle. load does not equal boost!
you wont get the woosh sound though unless there is a large vacuum difference or in boost.

If you want you're blow off valve to do what it does, relieve pressure from the charge system, YOU HAVE TO BUILD BOOST IN THE FIRST PLACE. There is no "blow off" without boost pressure PERIOD.

I agree, thats how the valve opens, but as I stated in the post above, no boost, no blow off "noise". This guy has a t67 and has no idea whats going on, not good.

if you just want the noise there is a unit on ebay that sell it. If you want the real version you need pressure to release.

LOL Rev your motor to like 5grand or something you mite get a little whoosh action. I remember those days haha. My S13 blew my girls skirt up once when I was on the dyno. She was standing kinda close to the front of the car watching the manifold turn red. That was pretty cool!! Gotta love HKS
