I'd just ask XS power. If they have confidence in their product they'll warranty it. Most of the problems I've seen with ebay manifolds is bracing which leads to cracking. If you go ebay status just add a little more bracing and I would assume you'd be just fine. What kind of manifold do you have Mr. LEXUSFTW?

xs power manifolds and many ebay manifolds work fine on the 2j and 1j's... the ones that fail are the honda ones and stuff...

i think the sr20 ones work well too

Here's a great thread on SF about eBay manifolds:

http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=317672

XS Power manifolds have been tweaked over the years and are better quality than the $100 eBay manifolds. Take a look at dejacky's pics on the last page.

I'm running Drewgo's manifold.

I assume the op is talking about exhaust manifolds. I dont know about the products yall are talking about cuz I just make my own manifolds. But the exhaust manifold takes a beating in a turbo system. They will regularly glow red sometimes orange. At this temperature any defect will eventually lead to a crack or break. They need to made from quality stainless steel and tig welded by a welder experienced in welding SS tube. And designed by someone familiar with building turbo exhausts. Anything less will most likely fail just a matter of when.

I have even seen early boostlogic exhaust manifolds for a 2jz (the first bi turbo manifolds they made) that were built correctly out of the correct material but I wouldnt install it on my ride and expect it not to break, it did not have a brace and all of the weight of the turbo/manifold/part of the exhaust sits on the exhaust flange...no bueno

Basically dont cheap out on exhaust manifolds.

XS is good stuff. I understand you are on a budget but if you cant afford the extra 50 bucks to get the right manifold then I would suggest waiting a while.
The money it would cost alone in damage if that ebay manifold cracked and snapped on you could be devastating.
