Recently I've been having some issues with starting my car that i can not figure out. It starts out like this:
I'm at school and i go out to start my car to join some of my buddies for a cruise were putting together. When i start my car it seems reluctant to start and when it does finally turn over it the RPM's don't jump up to about 1000 and then drop to about 800 like they have in the past. The engine seems bogged down and has trouble getting to idle speed. I let the car sit there thinking that its a cold morning maybe some parts have shrunk a little and once everything warms up it'll be fine. This seems to be the case once i get out on the road, and we stop and get gas and the engine cranks just fine when i start it back up.
This problem happens about once every 2-3 days for a while but recently its doing this every time i start it up after not having driven for a few hours. I was thinking it may be a short in the starter because i just recently replaced a battery in my car that had corroded terminals. Any ideas?

sounds like your fuel pressure regulator might be on its way out. Notice any other signs like gas smell?

Nope, no funny smells or noises. But ill throw a gauge on the pressure test port and see if its throwing up any funny numbers on a cold start.
