like the car will run fine for days without doing this problem and then all of a sudden it wont want to start so i will have to prime the fuel pump or turn the igniton like three times then turn it over its a weird problem really want to fix so you so check the battery when its running?

this guy was having somewhat the same problem as you

I think the problem was the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) was dirty and so was the maf.

The MAF is right behind the airbox. Here is a tutorial on how to clean the iacv:

I had similar problems and it turned out to be a bad fuel pump relay/main relay.
Does your car also have problems starting when its really hot inside?
My car would start fine in the cold, but after it was driven for a while, it would not warm start. The car starts up then sputters and dies like you said. Then when I try to start it a 2nd time, it keeps cranking but doesn't start.

heh, ever replaced a fuel pump before? its kinda nasty. dunno bout the sc's but from what ive learned you have to take the pump out from the gas tank, which means lotta gas comes out lol, not fun to do on any car w a full tank or even a 1/4 tank

I did mine with almost full tank of gas... I had to park on the hill though... but again, my problem was not fuel pump... which I did replace first and had same problem... had to replace fuel pump ECU...
