So i've been driving my car lately at the swap from July 6th till today i put about 200 miles on it, but this weird thing keep happening, my lower radiator hose doesn't get Hot after i drove the car for 15 miles.
I've replaced everything that has to do with cooling system while the Engine was out, looks like the thermostat is not opening.
My radiator cap is rated 16PSI, what am i doing wrong?

Get a flush kit and pulll the thermostat out. flush and see if maybe you have something gunked up in the block.

Damn dude, thought you would have a hangover from Saturday. Or is it just me. Miy 1J is down for now till I get a clutch kit in. Take it to the transmission shop for install. Would let ISP do it but they are so full with Supras and Evos. I know the install going to run me at least 5 bills. Wish I could do it myself. Anyway, we need to have a Boosted SC meet one day.

So i bought another!!!! it's a 95SC300 and i am swapping engine and trans over from the Old one to the New one ,It has a Clean Body and newer year.
I will be pull everything out by Friday .
Right just drill the firewall for the Clutch Master Cylinder and replacing the Rear Sub frame and Rear Diff at the same time because the auto diff is killing my pocket ,suck on Highway driving Mile/Gallon is suck, so i am swapping the 5 speed manual diff out of an SC300 for now till i go single in 3 months.
I am loving the SC right i had it register about 2 weeks ago and i already drive it for about 1200 miles lol the GS is borring.
I will post the PIcs of the process

you should swap the rear diff's from your 02 GS (if its a v8) with the SC auto or manual diff

then GS will be fast NA, SC will have proper turbo diff.

sc auto is 4.4 or so, sc 5mt is 4.08, gs v8 2002 should be 3.27
