I need to borrow someone's 1JZ ecu because i think mine is going bad , after all the issues that i 've been having , no it start to backfiring friday night ,saturday went to toyota and bought some new plugs, I pulled the old ones they looked perfect no oil , no fuel ,they looked like i just replace them 3 days ago.
So i check the gap and i was over 0.40 ,BTW those are TT plugs and they were pregaped.
I will open the ECU today to see what the inside looks like.
This is what am thinking about doing what yall think?
1*Send the 1jz EcU to get it recap which will be under $100!!!!
2* Or just buy a new 1JZ ecu which hate to do because i will go bad sooner or later.

So when i was swapping the 1JZ in my car, 1st it didn't come with a fan and i didn't go with the E fans , i just used my 2JZGE fan and clutch with some washers to space out the gap between the fan and the Upper radiator.
So i pulled the 4 bolts that hold the fan to the clutch and used some longer 10mm bolt and added the washer to space it out, after 3k the bolt broke off and the fan punched a hole in my radiator , so i went ahaed and replace both the fan and the clutch .
Saturday it did the same thing but this time i caught it before it happen .
So i got a 3rd fan with the clutch and pulled the stud the hold the fan to the clutch went to home depot and bought some bigger and better bolts , washers, lock washer and nut.
Drilled the threads out of the hole and install the bolts from the back of the clutch to the front installed (2) 12mm nuts between the fan and thec clutch , installed the fan used (1) washer and (1) lock washer and then put the nut on it.
It looks great and work way better than it was the other times.
What happen was the bolts keep breaking in half in the clutch .
I will post the pics this is just temporary i will be going with the E fans but i like my engine bay to look as OEM as possible lol.

Damn hope mine doesn't do that when I get back and actually able to drive my car. I sent mine off with 72 bucks, got it back pretty quick. Find out if it fixed mine when I get back. Ordered a bunch of goodies so my R&R will be fun. FMIC, EBC, EMU harness to finally hook it up, and debating on a KAAZ LSD.

Damn, from the pictures the wife sent me of mine it looks a hell of a lot cleaner but I don't exactly want her opening it up and messing around in it. Its not the prettiest, haha. But I will have a lil bit of go in it.

Camry TB cable is too long it's 33 inches you need 90-93 corolla TB cable it's 23 inches and it fit like the TT cable.
