I say try a different ECU before you send it out to get the caps replace, before u start spending money, i wish i knew was it was and as for the Tach please try to find a cluster and install it just to eliminate some wondring, you never know!!!

My build and troubleshooting has been on hold as I gear up to deploy. Ordering parts while I am gone and working on it when I get back.
-Different 1J ECU to see if thats my problem or have caps replaced in my old one. I think thats my problem.

No updates other than that I am in afghanistan and not able to work on the car. My wife is pulling the ECU to get the caps redone. 90% sure thats my problem.

THats the razy thing about mine- It ran great until it was driving for a while and then bam UBER limp mode. NO throttle response at all over 1600. THen the next day go out and fire right up no problems.

Temperature effects electronics. Just like a failing ignition module on a Ford. Runs great till it heats up, then dies. Let it sit and cool and it will run again till it heats up and dies again. Rinse and repeat. Have either of you had a chance to actually pull the ecu out and look at the caps? I'm curious as well

Well been a while since I updated.
Still in afghanistan.
Ordered a few parts.
Had ECU recapped by driftmotion.(hopefully this solves my 1600 cut)
Front mount setup.(XSpower Supra TT setup)(slight mod to fit)
AEM tru-Boost.
Map sensor for my Emanage ultimate.
Soarer specific harness for the EMU.(Takes care of extending ECU wires)
Having 3" exhaust made upon arrival to the states.
Need to get the luxurymods diverter plate.
Wife is getting me a TiAL BOV for X-mas(woohoo)
KAAZ being ordered on arrival to states.(Any hints
Still need to do.
-Swap clusters to have a working tach(old one has a dead motor.)(If it works then swap tach motor over to old cluster as it was redone by OLT)
-Wire and install--
-LC1 and gauge
-AEM tru-boost(Going to have fun hooking up the solenoid hoses)
-EGT and Oil pressure gauge.
-ECU
-EMU
Other stuff
-New speakers and sub.
-Clean headlights again.
-Get paint.
-Fit G35 rims.

Mac you got alot in your plate when u get back...haha
I am in the process of going Single been tired of driving the car with the Twins, it was boring at one point and can't hang with my local SC buddy's they are too fast for me so i needed to step my game up a little, got tired of being left behind hahaha.
Can't wait till you get back to the State..

All I have to do is beat my old boss's G35. Everyone else got orders and left. Need to hit up Raliegh when I get back to see what they have. I am going to push the twins pretty damn hard, hell if you don't need yours anymore, I could test em out.
If I jack em up just go single. Just deploy again to pay for it all. Iknow there are some guys in NC that like to run, just haven't found em yet. Going to make that trip up there, just need to get back first.

Damn You can have the Twins, I will keep them for you till you get back, at first i was thinking about swapping the USDM Turbo but at the end i will spend as much money as going Single.
There are a few fast SC and a lot Fast Supras so u better step your game up or get your feelings hurt lol.
The twins won't cut it for my power goal.
The rear one is already blown.

Sweet appreciate it man. Now I know what I am working with. See what kind of boost Voodoo I can work. Trying to get ahold of a guy named Cihan in Australia for a map for my ultimate, his site doesn't work over here.
