My 1JZGTE thread, 93 SC300 with W58
I just received my 1JZ from JHOT Imports yesterday. Signed for it and hauled *** to work(Military doesn't believe in showing up late but however will make you late as hell for anything You need to do.) Anyways worked all night and messed with it today.
The pallet had the motor, auto trans, ECU, harness,....All that I was expecting, and wait theres more. Intercooler and all piping, Igniter, Map sensor, Cruise control box and cable, driveshaft(really did not expect it), There is something else but I can't remember or that might be it. Packaged better than fort knox.
Thoroughly impressed with JHOT they F-ing Rock.
, hourly rate for a engine cubby hole sucks. But they have every tool(except a stupid offset 14 mm I will never use again.)
ID plate from the Donor car zip tied to the coolant line(freaking COOL )
Other side
Undoing flex plate to torque converter bolts with the schuely crank tool Its a lifesaver.
I will get a few pictures of the rest of the stuff later. I gotta eat.

Thank you, I am a Weapons Loader, so its half/half the people I talk to like me or hate me. Bombs on Planes, Warheads on Foreheads.(Old chief used to say that.)
More pics of the extra stuff. Fuse box is what I was thinking about.
Mess in my Jeep
Yea side mount IC Lil bit o'oil in it so new 2J PCV and my custom catch can that is entirely too small.
Shafts of drive.
Unexpected Fuse box=Spare weird fuses that are a pain to find.
Air box, piping etc..
The dirty Alt is off off my 2JZGE, forgot where I read it but heard the 2JZ had a higher output and plugs match so woohoo, Time for a cleaning and goodbye distributor.

Thanks man,
I switched the water pump out for a new 2JZGTE one funny thing is the stock one has AISIN and TOYOTA cast into it and the new one had the words ground off. Oh and the new one has metal fins the old one had plastic? I wonder which is bettter. Plus the motor has a new loooking GATES timing belt so no rebadged one with 5x price from greddy for me.

thats good, i switched out my water pump too. Use which ever one feels like it gives you the most play. Yeah there are several ways to go with the timing belt and i am convinced that greddy is not the way to go, izuzu 4cyl 2.6l works just fine too

The hell with over priced rebadged parts. Gates=Good enough for me. My parts guy that gets me stuff for cheap couldn't find any supra stuff the other day lil angry at that but oh well, Right now looking for throttle cable, flywheel bolts, then later a clutch kit right now. Going to reuse the clutch I have for now and see where it takes me. In all honesty I only need this one to last for a few months then I deploy again. Thats when I am going to completely "restore" the motor and car for that matter. Needs paint and new shoes.

I hit a lil snag but I will figure it.
Intercooler mounts for stock side mount. Might have to find some bolts for it.
I have both headlights out and almost the whole bumper unbolted.

The ID plate is cool to me, Plus while looking at the engine bay I found where it goes.
I need to give them a call cause I think I am missing one intercooler pipe. The one that goes from the top of the side mount to the hose that goes to the manifold. Yep, the one on top of the intercooler.
Not knocking on em, I need to call them just on a weird schedule right now.
Not my picture. OneJay's I believe.
