i have mixed feelings on the subject. i love the sound of a 1uz with a nice exhaust system with a low grumble. sometimes not so much when they almost sound like a truck though.
an idea ive been playing with in my head is getting a gs400 for my daily and just throwing a nice exhaust on it with some electric cut outs when i want it super loud... but thats probly not going to happen considering gas prices and other car interests.

Hey, it's my thread. 
I was planning on Nur Specs but got a pair of polished Magnaflows in pretty good shape off a parts car for basically free so I'm going to run those for a while.

no one commented on the first video, which appears to be the only single bank turbo 1uz I have ever seen. We had a whole thread discussing the possibility of a single bank turbo 1uz, which just kind of died out cause no one did it. After seeing the video, that turbo takes crazy long to spool, I think I will stick to the idea of dual banks or no turbo.
The 1UZ sounds like music at high rpm's. The 1uz with FI is just beastly.

Extremely true.. didnt notice it was single bank. Anyways, cannot wait to finish mine... would be done by now if I didn't go above and beyond lol...
