I paid less for my entire car. 600 dollars for an intake is repeated surprise buttsex with a sandpaper strap-on. Icing on the cake is that they said they had to solder some stuff. LOL

Yeah, don't do it. I bought one for my GS430 two years ago and was very disappointed with the results. It didn't feel any faster than when it was stock, however, it did produce a nice rumble.

Definitely not worth $600!!

Don't do it howie, buy a short ram and we'll put it on for you in exchange for free lunch! $600 is a waste of precious dinero!

Or just BFI the damn thing, better results! There's a BFI template based pre cut being sold on ebay nowadays, I don't know if the seller's from CL but if you're reading this and you are the seller, GB, right here, right now!

$600 is way to much to spend on an intake. Build your BFI and save the money for something useful like suspension/wheels or better yet... general maintenance!

then piece your own kit together..that way, you get to chose the brand of the vital parts (turbo, wg, manifold, etc.) and it can be done for cheaper than most kits..

Forgive my ignorance, but what if "BFI?"

.. and $600 for "12 horsepower" Hardly sounds worth it to me. Especially "12 horsepower" in a 3700 pound car.

You won't notice a $600 performance improvement from an intake, man... Total waste.

Doesn't sound like its worth it. I have a 98 SC4, and plan to get a SRT intake for it for around the same price. The gains should be about double what your going to get though. Don't have too many options for the vvTi, so thats why I'm going dat route.

dude why waste any money for an intake?

The BFI IS the optimal setup.

nothing out-flows a cut open stock airbox coupled with ram air
