It's most likely a missing cat from when you put your new header on the car. Go to Autozone and get the code from them just to be sure. If so, don't worry about it, keep on driving it like you would it won't effect performance, only emissions.
To reset the ECU, unplug the neg. battery cable and let the car sit for about an hour (discharges capacitors in ECU). Hook it back up and start the car. CEL should be off, but this is not a gaurentee. Let the car idle for about 10 mins it might sound a little rough and maybe lower than usual. This is normal during a reset. During that 10 mins the idle will climb back to normal (about 700 rpm). After that, turn off the car and go unplug the neg. batt cable one more time, this time for only 30 secs. After that, plug it up, drive around for a bit, and you're done. Don't need a professional for that, but if the CEL is still on again it won't affect performance.

update! it was code p0420...i think. and it was the emissions threashold in bank 1. no other codes came up just the emissions one so im good there..tomorrow we're gonna see if we can reset the ecu to run with that amount of airflow. if not then im gonna consider taking out the bulb because it is annoying, and i keep my car in routine maitenance so i trust it. damn O2 sensors.
