Something Keeps Spinning After Shutting off Engine
I recently (this past Sunday) replaced my plugs, plug wires, ignition coils, distributor caps and rotors. The first couple of times I started my engine up after the work I heard something spinning during the time the engine ran and continued for about 7 to 10 revolutions after I shut it down.
I figured maybe I had put one of the new rotors on 180 degrees opposite it's intended possitioning. So I ripped things apart only to find that there's only one way they go in. There's no way to "possition" a rotor incorrectly.
The noise stopped after putting things all back together and I heard not so much as a peep again........Until today
What could this be? Could one of the rotors have somehow sheared/snapped, and be just spinning freely?
Help.
