Default Trans Diagnostic Retrieval

I have a 1992 sc300(originally 4 speed A340E) with a 1jz-gte, the wire harness is 1jz-gte auto, and I dont know what type of ECU I have(1j auto or manual). I had to put the A340E back into the 1jzSC because I didn't think I could afford to rebuild the r154 I had. Now with the A340E installed i am having some issues. The transmission doesnt lock up when I attempt to accelerate hard(it slips). Its seems to be shifting correctly, although it engages drive gears harshly. I have been adjusting the valve cable and constantly checking the trans fluid. I attempted to retrieve the trans diagnostic codes but i think i jumped the wrong pins. I tried Tt and E1, are those the correct pins?

Thanks

Greg
