Don't know if this will work for you, it did for me. I went into a local muffler shop and he was quoting me around a buck fifty to do a catback piping for my sc400. Well I told him I couldn't do that and all I had on me was $110. It took about 10 minutes or so, but cash talks.

Meaning after the 2 cats up top, there is no other sensor? Because from what I see on that diagram.. looks like the center cat lays directly where the x pipe would need to be welded. If there is no sensor per this cat, then I get what your saying lol.

Everyone keeps saying that the stock exhaust is 2.25", this is wrong. I measured the other day. To clear things up it is 2.5" at the Y-pipe and the rest of the piping is 2". Also if you live in California then you will have 3 cats, over here we have two and a resonator in the place of the third. Now that is cleared, for you Durrby it really depends on how the exhaust is done and what piping you are using if you are replacing it. I am getting all brand new stainless steel piping tig welded from the cats back for about $400. This included all the piping and labor which is about a day. I'm also taking it to a performance shop and not your average city muffler shop so there is a premium to pay. Going there first thing in the morning and Ill let you know if its worth the upgrade.

Yes! I just got the two resonators removed today and it sounds awesome! It idles quite but once you rev it up the V8 really rumbles, very pleased with how it turned out. I didnt want it to sound like my honda but removing the silencers made it sound way better, not ricey, but smooth! Recomended. ( got a friend of mine to do it for 40 bones, it pays to have connections lol )
