I was waiting for someone like steve to make a valid comment to quiet down the douchers who have nothing good to say about anything.

Nice build, I was wanting to do a NA-T but went 1UZ with a SC. Congrats!

I'm in for the dyno results. Are you using a stock unopened 2jz-ge motor?

I also have the daveH base turbo kit and modified the rest of the setup to prevent intercooler pipes from blowing off . The freaky thing is with 2 solid pipes, the car spooled more consistently and even quicker than before

I see that you already wrapped a therrmal heat shield over the intake pipe right before the TB. That will keep the heat away, but to be honest with you, it's not that cosmetic. You may get a stainless steel heat shield made for your turbo size or a fiber wrap heat shield to completely block the turbine housing. Then you can leave the intake pipe smooth. The heat from the turbo will kill things around it soon enough. You can also paint the bottom portion of the intake pipe with thermal paint (somewhere between 1000-2000 farenheit paint), but leave the top part shiny.

It's an old pic during installation process, so it doesn't clearly show the 2000 degree ceramic coating on the turbine housing nor the Turbo blanket. I'm well aware of proper heat protection management from the turbo setup given I've been na-t for several thousand miles, plus I used copper-heatwrap on the downpipe. But thanks for looking out for a fellow car enthusiast .

You're very welcome, my friend. I always love "NA-T" because it's out of the "Ordinar-Y".

Those who don't believe in DAVEH, this kit as been 2 years and running STRONG. Its a daily driver and I push it some days for my personal enjoyment, it runs awesome. *KNOCK ON WOOD* Only problem I've had is running too lean at idle but thats cus other problems I'm neglecting to fix.

I triple recommend DaveH's kit!!

Mortal300, a lot has already been covered in this thread but I am curious to know if the DaveH kit can be made to work with a stock Supra TT SMIC and a bit of custom piping as long as the standard boost level is not exceeded. I know you used a front mount as do most NA-T guys but I'd like to know if it would be adequate for the stock kit.
