Default 2002 SC430- Haunted?

This morning my daughter backed my SC out of the garage and put the top up. She drove about a block to the stop sign and when she hit the brake the car just turned off. She was able to start it again no problem but as she was bringing it back home, every time she hit the brake the car shut down.

Anybody have any suggestions for me to check when I get home tonight?
The car has 47,000 miles on it.

Thanks,

Doug

check if there is gas in it.

Also is it each time she is driving and she taps the brake or does she step on the brake hard? because if it's only when it's a hard stop... then I am guessing something is shorting out. If it's anytime (doesn't sound like it) I would check the ecu.

check to see if the battery is properly tied down or if the connections are good on the battery
