2jzgte vvti with GT3582R

Waste of money for such little hp, you could've done more on stock twins. GT35 is too small to really be of use on a 3liter, its meant for a 2liter.

The problem with the FIC is the same with every other piggyback. The closed loop/open loop transition and appropriate fueling for both. The only real way to get everything right performance wise is to unplug the narrowband 02, which throws it into closed loop. With the FIC you can pull timing, but not add, it also has 02 skew and MAF tables. I only know of one person to this day that has successfully gotten everything perfect by altering 02 skew, and it's Ardmore on SF (Using MAP ECU 2), and it took him forever to get his ECU to relearn everything the way he wanted. But IDK of anyone else that has done this on any system with altering the MAF input/output and clamp voltages, MAP ECU 1/2, E-MANAGE, FIC, SAFC, etc. The IS guys have a horrilbe time with the FIC by trying to retain all the stock 02 sensors and keep the fueling the way the want it, the ECU will relearn it over time, but again this isn't an SC300 ECU, but not much different. Anyway there's some food for though, hope that helped.

I dynoed my VVTi SC 2 days ago, and even though i was only able to get 370 whp (wastegate took a dump) but the power band was sweet, it had a smooth curve that kept on rising all the way to 6500 RPM. So this setup definitely has a lot of potential, especially if you're looking for drivability and response, and it surely isn't a "waste of money"....

Yes I am sure it can and was done. But I did not want to have the stock twin pushed to there limiters for the sake of power with no concerns about/for reliability. Some say that (JDM) Twins are made of ceramic some say steel. Another option was to use/swap USDM Twins. I read a lot about the GT3582 and felt that it would fit my needs in every way so I took a chance on it

If I were you, I wouldn't post anything else until you have a clue as to what you're talking about. There are plenty of 35Rs on 3.0 and 3.4s that absolutely love that thing, especially for road racing.

I'm curious! Which ones Wastegate will you buy? I'm looking for GT35R on my 1jz-gte.
My friend has a 2jz-gte (non-vvti) and he uses a single GT3782R in Twin Scroll!! very responsive turbo!!! 409whp at 2000~2500RPM 19PSI a Real Beast! I don't remember how much Torque he produces
