1uzfe - plastic covers or no plastic covers
I just finished making some custom 8mm wires for the car. I still want to wrinkle black or red paint the valve covers/intake manifold... but I am having a hard time deciding if I want to even put back the covers now.
The coil wires haven't been made yet and I see that the engine is dirty as fk lmao.

Keep the covers on. Your ignition leads will last much longer and they keep dirt and moisture out of your spark plug tubes.
(I understand using larger leads, but why else would you leave the covers off?)
Does anyone still honestly think spark plug wires look cool anymore?
I thought plug wires are a thing of the past.
Anything good is C.O.P. these days.

Upper and lower cover assemblies removed on my TT V8 setup. They just date the motor so much..
Scotts solution is the be-all-end-all nicest way to go about doing things though, DEFINITELY.
Have your company Quantum-Auto fab some sort of valvecover wire covers somewhat like Scotts, possibly?
[That'd be a nice product to sell to the 1UZ guys..]

Hey scott are you running a coil on plug setup cause i see a welded cover over the valve cover area ,but no access to it. Can you still take those covers off even though they don't look accessible?
I love it when regular maintenance fixes all the problems cough cough LMAO!
