okay...so I just got finished doing the full tune up -- wires, caps, routers, and plugs. The pickup is slightly better.
However, the car still has a vibration and the power is lacking. I floor the pedal and the rpm only increases slowly. Idle and start is smooth.
Could it be the ignition coils??

lol @ some of the advice......I do this for a living, and I'll give a basic rule of thumb: Plugs will skip at idle....skipping while driving normally points to plug wires and cap/rotor (or weak coil packs if so equipped) one cylinder not firing shouldnt have a huge effect on a v8's acceleration, so i'd look into a possible clogged catalytic converter as the culprit. (rent, borrow or steal a back pressure gauge, pull a O2 sensor and install the gauge to find out quickly what shape your cats are in)

My power loss wasn't over time -- it was sudden. I would thing powerloss from a clogged cat converter would be over time? correct me if I'm wrong..
