alot of guys do the 1jz head on a 2jz bottom, so they can keep the displacement of a 2jz...and have the revs of a 1jz

blew the 1jz block and got one hell of a deal on a new usdm 2jz-gte short block that i couldnt pass up. its a hell of alot more mid range power not so much the revs but having the built head lets me rev it out past 8,000rpms which feels amazing when it works lol
