Default 1jzgte-vvti turbo manifold

Hello community i am looking for an after market turbo manifold for my 1jzgte-vvti . I have been looking but i have come up with nothing , i know parts are limited to my application , the vvti has a different head flange than the normal 1jz and 2jz, I am local in the tri county area . I am asking if anyone in those area know someone who is reputable in probably making a custom manifold for my application. I am looking to be running a t88h or t78 with my application, currently i have been offered a turbonetics turbo model (gtk 500)11260 - with just a couple of miles on it for a good deal. But i need someone who knows or has an after market turbo manifold my a 1j-vvti. I am in the broward county area or dade county , thank you very much , people can pm me also .

your going to want to use the t78 the t88h is way to big for your 1jz and also check ebay i see them on there or get the manifold for the stock ct and have it modified to fit the t78.

In my opinion even a T78 will be too big for a 1J, remember displacement plays a big part in getting that turbo to spool along with other factors. You should go with the new Precision Billett series turbos, maybe something along the lines of the 6262 or 6265, which will give you a quick spool and a steady powerband all the way to the top..

i had a t78 on my 1jz it really wasnt that bad and just tossing a set of cams in the motor made it even better. but yeah there is still a good bit of lag and there are newer turbos that get the job done better.

Alright, a couple of things..

VVTi heads have smaller exhaust ports and unless you are planning to have them ported, big turbos like T78's will be useless (espeically with stock cams). You'll have a 1000rpm powerband.

Second, unless you plan on dumping loads of cash on the HKS Valcon VVT camshafts, again, a turbo like the T78 would be a horrible choice. You can buy a standard 1J exhaust cam, and that will help some, but you definitely need a highly competant tuner, and a standalone EMS capable of controlling the VVTi.

Lastly, here is the only reasonably priced VVTi turbo manifold I've found... kinda nice because you can request what turbo flange you want:

You want the EFR 7064, weld on a T3 flange to the factory manifold... Power like a Z06. (given you have fuel and a good fuel controler *FIC6 etc)
