Any Plug and PLAY standalone for aristo engine
i got a few questions...is there any plug and play standalones out there for the aristo ECU? if not how do i wire up a aem standalone to my ecu?
is there anyway to hook up a VPC to the aristo even though i know its a map i wouldnt mind going old school and use a vpc knowing they support cars that are running 800 hp even up to today
my power goals are 700-750 hp and i really looking into a good stand alone or even a piggy back unit if anyone knows one that can support 700-750 and that can wire up to a aristo ecu because everything they sell is for only USDM ecus

for those kind of numbers, the AEM EMS would be your best bet and the hell with a VPC, it would be obsolete in the presence of a full stand alone.
AEM should have something on their website on the wire diagram, if not check out clubna-t and ask around there.
Just be sure your have the injectors and a turbo(single) ready to support the numbers your aiming, for. Shouldnt be hard to accomplish, but keep up posted.

right now i am running a precision t67 and stock 440 injectors and hks dli..i have a set of 850's to drop in along with a hks fuel rail set up and 2 fuel pumps and so on...i was hoping to get away with a map ecu2 or aem fic but from my prior threads i was acknowledge to stick to a aem stand alone..i was actually looking at the version 1 which ofcourse will be cheaper then the version 2..but i seen great numbers with the version 1 so i dont care for the new options or so i think its basically for more a full out race car.

I would second the AEM. You can get the universal and set it up via the pinouts... they are a number on here and you can search under my name if you want to see the differences between the supra USDM, Aristo, and SC300. Also if you had your harness done by Dr tweak you most likely will be able to use the supra USDM or he has a way to do this (from my understanding).
If you are not wanting the expense of the AEM system you might look into the GReddy emanage. I am not sure how it is up to 800HP. I personally do not like piggybacks but each to their own.

Map Ecu 2 for the bang for the buck.ALOT of the pinouts on the Aristo/Jdm Map style non VVTI GTE's are the same on the USDM so a few moved/additional wires and a simple patch harness will work with a USDM TT ecu.Read up on the horror stories with GTE AEM's and to me its a gamble with V1 havent heard anything on V2 yet.I might be going Map Ecu 1 with a USDM Obd1 TT ecm setup in the near future for my car.
