are these motors and trans the same ????

Red face are these motors and trans the same ????

the motor and transmission in a 93 SC400
and in the LS400
i heard they are but could you put a transmission from an LS400 into an SC400??? they are both V8
the motor in the sc is a 1uz-fe i belive the LS is the same but do you know for sure..


would you trust a torque converter from autozone???

Don't even go to autozone. They never give you good parts. My buddy is a mechanic and every time he has a customer bring in parts from autozone they always crap out early or don't even work. Same w/ my s14. Faulty starter w/ them and on my S13 they gave me a bad BMC.

I don't buy anymore from them, unless it's small items like air freshners. :P

1st gear in the LS in longer but other then that it should work
