s-afc or e-manage

I like the piggy back system. That being said, I have never owned a car that was full stand alone. I have used the SAFC2 twice, and the SAFC neo, along with Greddy emanage. I have to say, for the money, the SAFC is the way to go. I dont much care for the emanage. Plus its more expensive and not easily tuned by me...lol

I dont mind a piggy back, but after having the AEM EMS on my last s13, everything else is obsolete once you see and learn all the tuning and adjustment options avaliable..but with the plans I have for my SC now, I really wish I would have just picked up the EMS from the start

EMS, do it right the first time, don't spend the money on the stuff that will not work 100% at all time.
Spend the money on EMS and you will never have to worry about your car not running right ,Aem or Haltech is what i would get GL.

ALRIGHT!!
i think i got it the SAFC2 is the piggy back that keeps fuel and air ratio on point so that it could optimize your power output on your turbo motor.. now my point of view is will
be doing a na-t conversion on my 2jzge motor sc300.
I'm going with:
precision t61 w/.68 hotside turbo
-i think i will have to go with .81 hotside
550cc injectors
38mm waste gate
and a 3" maff
my goal is 450hp daily and 550hp on my everyone must die day!!!
NOW!!! will the SAFC2 be what i need to hit that goal or am i better off with the standalone because the SAFC2 won't be able to cover every aspect of that kind of power?

with those goals, spare no expense and go stand alone from the start

thanks for the advice but do you think the SAFC2 would hold me up till i can afford the standalone...
that bad boy is no joke i could buy 2 spare motors for the price of one aem ems!! lol
and i'm looking at 2-4 weeks till i get the kit. and i already feel like a kid in the candy store just waiting to try new flavors.... (and i just don't think i could leave the kit in my garage to wait for the standalone)

^ This the way i look at it you don't have to buy it brand new!! You can always buy it used, and you have alot of EMSs not only AEM, MOtec,MS etc You have Haltech you can buy a used one for a Good price.
There alot of Na-T guys with SAFc with the Stock GE ECU going thru alot S***.
The Safc will do very well with for example stock 1JZGTE, 2JZGTE.
There another member selling the Haltech F10X for around 600 for that price you can't go wrong if you find a Haltech Tuner but. GL

EM safc2 for turbo setup?
Hi I am new to the CL forums but I am trying to find all the parts for my turbo install. Would an safc2 be enough to get to 350-400 hp? I am just trying to get it turbo'd for now with some decent power until I get enough money for a standalone. As far as engine management goes would an safc2 be all I need? I plan on replacing the auto trans with an r154 in the next couple months so I understand that some ecu modding will be required. If anybody could redirect me to someone with a similar build with a safc2 that would be great!
