safc-2 will work just fine, and has more adjusment parameters than the safc-1 or e-manage blue..but I will tell you from first hand experience, if possible go stand alone from the start cause your going to want it later..8psi is a HUGE difference over stock, but its like a constant tease every time you drive your car.

boost is like heroin, the more you use it, the more you want...just get an AEM EMS.

Look into the AEM FIC. They're fairly affordable. You can eliminate your MAF depending which version and it will depend if you're OBDI or OBDII.

the safc-2 isnt bad for lower boost, and unlike the neo you can store 2 map settings..but if you decide to go much higher boost levels later, best to just go stand alone from the start.

the AEM FIC isnt bad either, but have read several na-t supra owners complain about them, still better to go full standalone from the start in case you get a bug like me and decide to shoot for 25+ psi

not to mention, the safc and e-manage both alter timing with little to no user control. with a standalone, you are in control of every aspect of timing, fuel, spark, etc..not to mention you get to opt out of the maf and go with a map.

An FIC is only $350ish, $300 if you know people...

But I've not heard any complaints from IS300 guys running them as well as IS-F's and 240sx's, so that's the route I'm planning on going unless an AEM EMS comes along that's a really sweet deal.

safc 2 IMO. I never messed with a 1 on these cars. Besides 50 really isnt that great of a deal. I bough a NEO for 200, bought my SAFC2 for 75 bucks...just look around.
