Yeah i don't want to put them under the car either, but where else can we put them? Does anyone have a picture of their engine bay preferably bone stock so atleast someone including myself can come up with something? I found an FMIC that fits our cars perfectly but its 700 shipped but it is good for up to 1000hp, or we could just run the 2 side mounts from a supra tt for people who want to save some money like discussed in the other thread. I wrote mechtech an email and they will not sell us individual parts, bastards, im am waiting on an email from levelten.com on the transmisson durability and upgrade sitution for those guys who want 500+ hp as soon as i get word i will let everyone know, like i was saying before, if someone could post a pic of a stock sc400 engine bay maybe we can figure out other ways 2 fit some twin t3s or twin gt25s in there. We need to get Lex Luthor and Ebanks back into this as well because those 2 guys know some things or 2. Im willing to help anyway I can and want to try and get this off the ground once and for all.

Thanks,
Tom

its not underneath per say, i think its more inline to where the oil pan is... or slightly above
if you've got your underguard still on, nothing will hurt it being there...

personally id do a big single in the front like where the intake resides or where the battery is (move the battery

I don't know about you guys but if i have twin turbo im sure as hell going to want to be able to show it off when i open up my hood because the porsche or vette i just raced got his *** handed to him Im pretty sure we can relocate our fuse box and battery to the trunk, but we also might have to lose our power steering and ac, i know for sure if we lose that stuff there should be plenty of room for some twins in there but i would only give that stuff up if it was turbo or no turbo situation. Could someone please send me or post a pic of the 1UZ in the sc400.

Thanks,
Tom

No, but i should have one by the end of the month I just learned that we can relocate our power steering pump by using the supra mkIII ps pump. Im sure we could also reloacte the ac as well. If we do all this do you guys think we will have enough room to mount some twins in the engine bay?

Now, if the battery, fuse box, ps pump, and maybe the ac is relocated looks like we should have enough room for some twins Anyone else have any ideas?

Could somone do me a favor and label what everything is in the engine bay, i would do it myself if i had my own sc400 to look at, i should have my own by the first 2 weeks of august, but i want to see if a top-mounted twin turbo setup would work if we moved some things around in there.

Thanks,
Tom

Is that for a single turbo setup bean? Would we be able to lower our cars with that setup?

yes that is a single set up. that seems like it actually might work pretty well. you should be able to lower your car without any issues.
