Radiator replacment

Just had my radiator replaced last week. Took the guy about 2hours total time. Didnt look too hard except he said he had to remove all the plastic covers from under the car to get to some of the bolts. Also since the fan on the raidator is hydrolic and you dont really want to mess with disconnecting and reconnecting the hosses and filling the fluid, so what the guy did was just unbolt the fan housing from the radiator while it was on the car and just removed the radiator. Honestly though, the labor to put it in was only $80 so you may just be better off letting them do it.

The brand is Performance Radiator. A local toyota place recommended them. Unfortunately I didnt take any pics before it was installed. If you want to see of an installed pic let me know and ill shoot one. The major difference seems to be the use of metal istead of plastic on the tank top and bottom which seem better to me because it was the seal between the tank and the plastic top on the old raqdiator which was slowly leaking in my case.

I only paid 168 including delivery, and it was all metal. it took me 2-1/2 hours to replace it. I thought it would be a lot harder then it was. I got it from WWW. Expressauto.com for 154 plus shipping.
