Depending on supercharger and boost it varies. I plan to turn my Whipple to a 18-20lb level, From what I have read I will lose 60-75 HP turning it, My gains will be much greater than 100 HP.
If you only spin a roots type to 7 psi loss will be much less along with the total HP gained. Still comparing the two on a stock motor, the turbo is a much better solution.

I was just a little worried since I have been doing some junkyard shopping looking for a 98+ 1uz and an eaton m90...

I like the sound of a twin turbo and the look of it and for the right price I will diff go that route thanks Scott

Buy the kit from Scott. He's already dropped the price lower then originally posted. Which was a deal to begin with. Also, there's nothing like the fee of a turbo kicking in.
With that said.

Scott's twin setup is a bolt-on kit from what I see it. It can be installed and finished for 2 days, given you're familiar with the SC400. Run low boost for 7 psi first with the basic fuel setup including the 12:1 FMU and a high pressure high flow 255 lph fuel pump, maybe from Walbro or Supra MKIV TT Denso. Then when you have a thrist for more boost, crank it up to 10-11 psi with a good ECU that can control timing/fuel. You can run 460 cc/min injectors from the RX7 for cheap with this mild boost setup. It'll be a beast.

your not gonna find a better deal anywhere and the supercharger kits I've seen dont even compare and I seen twin turbo kits from the aussie's that go for 12k and thats not including shipping

No problem. It's good to see another boosted SC. You'll be 1 of the only 4 people who run a twin turbo setup "IN THE WORLD" on the SC400 that I know of. Want to be unique! Go this way.

No problem, buddy. The SC400 is an underrated car, but it loves boost. Many people think it's very expensive to boost the SC400, but in fact, it's about the same as swapping to 2JZ or 1J, if we're talking about mid power performance.
