Default SC300 Whine

As the title states there is a loud whine coming from the front of my engine. The alternator tested fine and my power steering fluid is full. Any ideas?

Sounds like a accessory bearing going bad....take the serp belt off and spin everything individually by hand...you'll feel/hear the roughness on the bad bearing....

Thanks man. I'll check next time I have some free time. I hate to ask a noob question but what exactly is an accessory bearing?

Alternator, power steering pump, ac compressor....anything the serp belt drives...If you notice nothing unusual after checking all those, crank the car back up without the belt on it, to make sure it not something timing belt driven..(doubtful)
