i can't wait for mine to get rolling...
lets see if i can get mine done before you XD how goes the wiring? be careful not to cut the knock sensor wires unless you want to solder coaxial cable. I would do those close to the connectors, they look like clear speaker wires at the connectors.

other other issue was the alternator wasnt charging, so we just used the body harness alt plug, and spliced it into the 1JZ harness ALT to be able to use the 1jz atl...wallaahhh, it wrks, then i had to use the 2jz compressor since for some reason the my A/C lines will not fit into the 1jz compressor.
These 2 issues are 95+ sc300 specific.
Basically you switched out the stock alternator connecter with the 1JZ connector(chassis side near the airbox).. That's what I did as well and it works perfectly.

The ac lines didn't fit because you have a 92-94 Early 1JZ which uses R-12 freon and the 95+ Sc uses R134a fittings/hoses which are different so dont trash that compressor.

wow i shouldve read this before cutting it, but im getting new wires, for the KS, and gonna run them str8 to the ECU, car runs, idles perfect loud as hell because i installed a 3" DP made for the stock twins, but i have to extend the oem catback to reach since i would rather hack that up., other other issue was the alternator wasnt charging, so we just used the body harness alt plug, and spliced it into the 1JZ harness ALT to be able to use the 1jz atl...wallaahhh, it wrks, then i had to use the 2jz compressor since for some reason the my A/C lines will not fit into the 1jz compressor. so now i have a spare

also for the alternator you could also re-use the 2J one as well, saves from rewiring, but either way works. I believe the 2J ones put out more amps though.
nice job!

you could have re-used the A/C compressor on your 2J, it bolts right in. Don't even have to evacuate the system too.
