With turbos, you get what u pay for, it wont perform the way you want it if you go with a cheap turbo. I have a precision turbo.
Go with Garrett, turbonetics, precision, greddy or HKS....
A quick spooling turbo will be a good ball bearing turbo. I currently have a T67 Dual ball bearing turbo i paid 1100 for it and its AMAZING< i have full boost at 3200 rpms.....what more can u ask for!

I have a master power T70 on my car, it's a decent turbo, but it smokes even with out blown seals, I think it's caused by a faulty oil drain that leaks oil into the down pipe. All in all, finding a used percision or turbonetics or what ever would probably be the same as getting a new master power, but theres probably going to be a higher fail rate on the master power turbo.

You make a gamble with a cheap turbo, or any part that consist of the most critical aspects of your system. It might be even more expensive when something fails causing a chain effect of destruction (slag breaking away from a cheap manifold and being swallowed by your $$ turbo or wastegate).
