I'm having a hard time deciding as well. I'd like a quicker spooling street setup but I'd also like the potential to grow into it and eventually make more power. Since reading so many horror stories with billet precisions failing I'm hesitant to buy one, while Borg Warner you never hear of smoking or leaking. My luck would be that the first year would be great and then the 13th month it'd mess up

If you read too much on here and SF you will not move forward with the project, You will keep changing you mind.that's what's happening to me now. when i was doing my first na-t setup i didn't think to much all i knew was i wanted AEM, big Injectors,Tial WG, HKs BOV,R154 with ACT Clutch, 3.92 rear end, and 67mm turbo and 600rwhp on pump i knew could be done...i was almost there.

I am gonna swap my GS300 if i do i will go all out with the SC, if i don't swap the swap the SC will stay~740rwhp.

I like both bW and PTE they are both great Turbos but yeah i agree that bW will last longer than the PTE majority of the time, at the same time you have consumer errors and other stuff.
i have seen (2) Pte Turbos gone bad after a couple weeks of use , oil is just shooting out of the exhaust i don't know what happened , but both turbos where cooked.
I had 67 never had any issue with it, actually one of the best turbo i have ever had spools fast , hits hard and makes good power.

i am very determine to finish my car, pass emissions and start part (2) of the build.

E85 users what's your mpG i would like to know what am going against, i don't wanna break the bank everytime i drive my car.
i was getting anywhere from 23-27 mpg on my old setup on 93 octane.

^ Here ya on that brotha. Seems like you have a few choices in turbo setups to go with whatever you choose either way is going to be nasty. I too am thinking of the E85 route!

Don't forget about those pics we all want to see your workmanship!

Damn mean color scheme body/wheels just needs a drop Comming along very nicely, love the steering wheel. Did you do a black interior swap or just swap the tan seats?
