yeah im hoping thats all it is, driftmotion will have it tuesday morning, ill take monday/wed (work tues) to clean up some of the wiring and engine bay. i need to find a layout of the pins for the ecu and for the body plugs. theres a body plug thats been spliced into on one of the wires and isnt connected to anything, its a small green wire with a yellow line, and theres andother one coming from the binded wiring of the harness thats black/yellow thats not connected as well. from the ecu is a yellow wire that goes to the dakota signal interface, but im 95% sure thats the speedometer/tach interface. Thanks for all your help thus far guys, what a headache.

i got a new sound last night. it was out of limp mode for a couple minutes and when it hit boost i hear a noise from under the dash or in the bay (cant decipher) from behind the passenger airbag area.. that sounds like a air compressor motor starting up.. in a bad way.. that might be a whole nother plethora of things

big thanks to Aaron at Driftmotion, ecu had 3 bad capacitors, sent it monday got it back today, they took great care of me.. cars running good so far!!

theres actually quite a few 1j cars in jacksonville most of them reside in my drive way though haha
